I bought this for an interior door, expecting that I could rekey it using the smartkey feature so that it would match my Baldwin exterior lockset. What they didn't tell you in the literature is that you can only rekey it to other smartkey locks. The profiles of the key are different, even if they're all Baldwin. Lesson learned.

Excellent quality and workmanship. The price is unbelievably low for such a great quality. We spent much more on another deadbolt and I cannot see the difference. This was an excellent purchase. The style is gorgeous.

Venetian Bronze carry a lifetime limited finish warranty. There is no finish warranty on Non-Lacquered Brass 031, Vintage Brass 033, Oil-Rubbed Bronze 102, Distressed Oil-Rubbed Bronze 402. Other finish, Baldwin warrants to the Purchaser that the finish of the product shall be free of defects in material and workmanship from tarnishing, flaking, and discoloring for either (a) five (5) years from the date of purchase for interior use or (b) one (1) year from the date of purchase for exterior use; as long as said Purchaser occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed.
