High quality beautiful piece. Not rainproof storage. I ended up Applying marine grade teak caulk to fill gaps between boards on lid. Fully rainproof now—perfect for dry seat cushion storage.

I opted to put it together myself and was somewhat daunted as it was packed in a wooden crate that was both nailed and screwed shut . Turns out that getting it out of the packaging was the hardest part ! Assembly super simple . Beautiful and quality piece .
