MaryTuxedo Park, NY

This is a beautiful piece, heavy and well made. The description states it is made of strips of bark and wood. I was expecting a “live” edge as seen in the picture, however, there is no bark, only a solid piece of wood. This was somewhat disappointing and the reason for four stars. Still keeping it but be aware.

Matching, pure-pewter elk heads embellish opposite sides of this piece as they mount against strips of bark and acacia wood. The detailed elk figures are remarkably realistic, with full racks of antlers, soft eyes, and coats that you want to touch.
