Hand-knotted in wool, this modern rug is from the French Art Deco rug collection by Rug & Kilim. On the Design: This piece draws inspiration from the same European take on the 1920s style, and enjoys a cubist-like sensibility in its geometric patterns. Its colorway favors beige and brown, pink, red and orange accents in a look both smart and playful. Keen eyes will admire the fine detail that achieves the look of depth and dimensionality in this large size. Connoisseurs will further admire this, as well as our thick pile construction, among the many traits nearly indistinguishable from antique Art Deco rugs that inspired this collection. This represents Principal Jahanshah Nazmiyal's goal to honor the many artists and weavers behind this movement, and contribute to the style in a bold new high-end rug for today's interiors.
