Additional Features

• Pieces: 16 black and 16 white, from a 49" king to a 40" pawn. Every piece has a 9.5" base.
• Hard plastic board: Interlocking black and white 14.75" squares form a 9'10" x 9'10" board. It snaps together with no tools and can stay outdoors year-round.
• Built for outdoors: Made of hollow, injection-molded HDPE plastic that's waterproof and UV-resistant, so the pieces hold their shape and color through sun, rain, heat, and cold.
• Adjustable weight: Add up to 7 pounds of sand or water to each base for extra stability on windy days.
• Modular height: The 49" set uses two 12" inserts per piece. Remove one set of inserts for a 37" set, or both for a 25" set.
• Commercial or residential: Great for backyards, patios, weddings, breweries, schools, hotels, resorts, parks, and campuses.
