After searching for two years through multitudes of trees, I finally took a chance on this one -mainly dues to reviews and photos - during the pre black Friday sales. I'm glad I got it on sale, because while it's a very nicely shaped, sturdy, sparkly tree, it is definitely not worth the retail price. In least to most aggravating, I give it only three stars because: 3) The base section of the tree is too sparse 2) The bottom row of both middle and second layer leave gaps 1) The lights look like they were integrated by a drunken 7 year old. You can see every section of wire from branch to branch, every double plug, and worst of all, large jumbles of wire at random intervals. I've included photos of this. I took the suggestion of another reviewer and ordered that matching lighted garland to use as a filler /disguise and second her comment that it helps immensely. Once all the shaping and fussing/finagling with wires is done, the tree is a fabulous shape and size, and it looks great during the day, and stunning at night. I'm still decorating, but picture shows it with just lights and it is very pretty. Nevertheless, one shouldn't have to spend more time cleaning up light wires than actually decorating the tree. That task strips a lot of joy out of "putting up the tree", even foe a hard core "Christmas" person. If Vickerman's would fix those issues, it might actually be worth the full retail price.

It's nice once it's fluffed but I can see the metal tips where the branches are held onto the trunk : ( Just seems like those could be painted white, too, and then covered with a branch. And do they have to put 4 sticky tags on every string of lights? It would have been so much more fun to open this tree and not have to spend half an hour cutting tags off and isn't putting up the tree supposed to be fun?! Measurements are true; fit my tiny space perfectly. Oh, I may have missed the in the description but I was surprised it has iridescent 'needles'. I would have preferred it didn't...wanted a more natural tree. The lights are a nice warm white, not that awful blue white color that looks like a space ship. Probably as nice as you can get for the price.

This tree is beautiful. It is easy to store and easy to set up.

The tree I received does not look as pictured. In the picture, the tree is much fuller and you can’t see the pole and hardware that attaches the pole. However, the one delivered is quite sparse and you can see the pole and hardware. Also, it is iridescent, with spots of pink on the branches, which were not mentioned in the description. Looks much better in the picture, however not in reality.
