I love this tree! It’s flocked on every branch but not close to the trunk. You really cannot tell. And it’s better that way anyway as the flocking was sticking together out of the box. I think the color is what I expected, looks like the photo. I love the matte look too. The branches are dense and realistic for a purple tree. I haven’t put lights on it yet but I think it will be beautiful! My cat does enjoy chewing on the flocking so I’m going to have to rehome him because this tree is beautiful! JK about the rehoming but I’m going to have to figure something out. In all fairness he chews on real or fake plants too. So this isn’t any different. When I add lights I’ll update my review with photos lit and unlit

It's okay - way darker of a purple than photo. You have to take a photo with the flash on to even get it to look purple in a photo. My cat won't stop eating the flocking which is generously applied. So, back it goes.
