The flocking is heavy and thick, which lends itself to a nice snowy effect, but it is extremely messy. The tree came out of the box rather mangles and twisted. The more I worked to reshape it, the more flocking ended up on the floor. It looks fairly nice once set up, so I will use it this year, then get rid of it when the season is over.

In one word, AWFUL! Pros. Ordering was easy, delivery was fast, set-up was easy, brightly lit, and flocking is beautiful. Cons. Many big gaps, some branches dont come out to the edge, impossible to shape even close to the online picture. It looks like some branches may be missing. I started to decorate it to try to fill spaces but quickly realized that even large ornaments wouldnt help. While flocking is expected to fall, lots of flocking was all over the place. Each time we touched it, there was a flurry of flocking. It totally came off some of the tips. Im hoping to get it back in the box and somehow return. Im so disappointed, and it screwed up my decorating schedule.

Order this! You won't be disappointed. I was looking for a tree that was full, heavily "flocked", and looked like something in between a spruce and a pine. This was perfect. You have to make the branches look fuller by moving them a little, but it doesn't take long at all. Super worth the price. I have only decorated a tree twice in my life, and this was #2. I am getting compliments constantly on how pretty this tree is. That is because I chose this wonderful base for my decorations.
