This tree is fairly easy to assemble, with only three sections plus the base. However, unfolding the branches is tricky because the wires for the lights get tangled in the branches easily. Even with the branches opened up there are some spots that look bare. The base that came with the tree also was lose. I contacted Wayfair and they sent me an entire new tree! The base was much more stable, but again the wires still get tangled up in the branches.
