The natural tension of this versatile vine is a significant characteristic that has been well thought of in the design process of the Yoda. “We must bend, but never break,” as emphasized by the Jedi master. This is what I wanted to capture in the creation of the Yoda. Handmade and bent with tension precision, it guarantees a comfortable support as you sit on our easy chair.
The original. The 1006 Navy® chair was originally created in 1944 for the US Navy. Built by hand from recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania, it is lightweight, non-corrosive, fire-resistant, and super strong. Guaranteed for life. Standard glides: Soft plastic TPU glides for all-around use, including outdoor use.
