Crafted from solid oak, quarter-sawn oak veneers, ash, and walnut the pieces are wire-brushed to enhance the natural grains of the wood. Century has created several new Cerused Finishes to complement this wire-brushed distressing. In addition to the wood, pitted and ground cast iron metal is used on both the hardware and throughout the collection as an accent, and a flamed, black absolute granite is used on the credenza and consoles. The Mesa Collection brings a new casual vibe to the transitional design making these pieces at home from California to New York.
This table fit our needs with the right diameter and height BUT the bottom legs are painted black wood and I misunderstood and thought they were actually metal. And the top is actually a veneer which was not described clearly, and we have wear on the edges already and I'm worried about it holding up over time. It is solid wood with a veneer finish.
