Seen here with tapered oak legs, this classic veneered dining chair with hand-carved oak and a parquetry design is a divine star within the Nova collection. Striving for functionality, this upholstered seat is constructed with a top and mid-rail bar joined by stretchers.

The chairs are very well made. Solid construction, the woodgrain is beautiful and the lines are clean. My only negative is I wish the cushions were a bit thicker/plusher. The fabric is also not as cream colored as pictured, not in a bad way, but it's almost like linen (in appearance) with some darker threads mixed in to give it some interesting depth. Overall, very pleased.. Dennis. CA. Wed Mar 11 2026

Better-than-expected quality! Ordered four chairs and two arrived damaged (I blame Fed Ex for mishandling) but Perigold still made it right. The chairs are comfortable and the reedweave is sturdy (I have three tweenteen kids who aren’t always delicate and after three months, these chairs show no agedamage). Delivered quickly and completely assembled. Packaged well. LOVE the mid century modern look and profile. The backs are low but I knew that in advance and proceeded regardless. They are comfortable even with lower backs and being wood. Could add a cushion but I do not feel that is necessary and would take away from the aesthetic.
