I can live with it but hoping I can get some touch up pain from the manufacturer. The size is grand and it is now the statement piece of my bedroom! Looking forward to filling it up. The manufacturer notes that a TV should not be placed in the top portion presumably due to a tipping concern, but I can't believe the lightweight TVs of today would be an issue. My Alnwick bureau has been moved so many times and been used in so many different decorative schemes that I struggle to remember exactly when it came into our house.
