I got the gold with the cream cover for my vanity in my primary bedroom bathroom. It's great - wish it was a tad higher, and also the finish on the legs is not as "upscale" as I would have hoped. It looks hand painted and has a few imperfections, but for the cost, I was not going to nit-pick, as this stool was one of the only I could find of this height, with a gold base and cream cushion....after hours of looking online. I ordered this in gold. This was a piece that made me a little nervous. It could be totally divine or lean a little tacky. When I saw it in person, I loved it! A few weeks later I was looking through a wonderful book by legendary New York interior designer Alex Papachristidis, and I saw what I believe to be the exact stool he has used in a fabulous house in the Hamptons. The Delfin Bench Kit is available as shown with the Howards End Marrakech Green fabric. Production is 3-4 weeks from our custom upholstery department in Chicago. Howards End brings to mind a day in the English countryside where Ginko leaves rustle in the trees on a bucolic countryside path. The Madcap Cottage fabric celebrates their love of all things English, and the range of colors that nature embraces. Each bench frame is made of steel and finished with a hand-applied gold leaf. Each corner of the bench has a grand tassel. (The tassels may be removed simply by unhooking each if you would like to edit this detail.)
