This dresser has a great look/ black with lots of texture in the wood grain. It is very heavy and substantial although I gave 4 stars because one of the drawers cannot be opened. Classic vintage elements inspired the Finn collection, celebrating the birth of mid century modern design with an updated perspective that suits the 21st century aesthetic. Simple, clean lines and solid heirloom quality construction are complemented by rounded forms and the organic beauty of wood grain and natural hand-applied woven raffia, creating a beautiful study in contrast.

I specifically chose this because it had 3 smaller lingerie drawers and soft-close mechanism. This drawer looks nice, but the drawer closing mechanism is not soft-close. When pushing it close you have to use more force at the end to actually get to close (so it does not close smoothly). Also, if you push from one side rather than in the middle or with both hands it does not want to close. For example, if you push the drawer where one of the hand holes are then it feels like there is a lot of friction and it won't budge. Because it doesn't work well it doesn't justify the price tag and I don't recommend it. (Over 1k). Anonymous. Tue May 21 2024

Casual three-drawer Jacobean styling with oak solids and straight grain oak veneers. The top is clipped cornered and the drawered case sits on a heavy block base with Bunn-style feet. The finish is a warm umber that contrasts nicely with the antique brass hardware.

The dresser showcases the collection's signature custom hardware. The artisan pulls look like a single piece from a distance, but are actually separate sections on each drawer front. The contemporary molding surrounding the hardware draws attention to the design by framing it on the piece. The feet and base rail feature a contrasting dark walnut finish.

The dresser is absolutely gorgeous. Bernadine. Bluffton, SC. Sun Dec 11 2022

This 3-drawer dresser brings rustic elegance and a mix of materials to your bedroom. We love how the wavy drawer front gives it plenty of depth. Plus, there's room on the surface for framed family photos and a table lamp.

Some dressers store clothes. William stores confidence. Its carved drawer fronts bring a steady rhythm to the room—deep grooves and geometric patterning that feel sculptural without getting loud. The solid oak construction keeps everything feeling light but grounded, while the natural grain stays front and center across the facade. Rectangular legs with exposed joinery add a workshop-forward detail that reads intentional, not precious. It’s function, with a little architecture baked in.

The 19th-century inspired Swedish commode in a scraped cream finish embodies the Gustavian style, which is characterized by its restrained elegance and neoclassical influences, a reflection of King Gustav III's admiration for French aesthetics. This style often featured light, muted colors and a distressed finish, such as the scraped cream, toevoke a sense of age and timelessness, aligning with the Swedish preference for simplicity and lightness in interior decor. The commode's design and finish highlight the period's emphasis on fine craftsmanship and functional beauty, marking a significant period in Swedish furniture history that harmonized practicality with refined taste.

This is the 3rd Woodbridge piece I have ordered, but the first from Perigold. All of the items I have ordered from Perigold have been delivered on time. Delivery was clear about delivery dates and times, and waited for us to inspect the item. The only reason I gave four instead of five stars was because we had to spend a fair amount of time tightening screws in a drawer. Two screws came loose in the drawer. It would not close all of the way. Also the drawer would tip out when it was pulled. This 9 drawer dresser looks like a higher quality piece and the Bordeaux finish is lovely. Note that the finish is not as mottled as it is on the photo.. Anonymous. Sat Aug 01 2026
