If the devil is in the details, he was certainly busy with this heavenly chair. The curved back is accented with hand woven caning, and the woodgrain of the black finish pops through the gray glaze. Rustic brass caps finish off the arms and the exaggerated raked back legs end in brass ferules. The curved back rest is highlighted with brass ribs, making this chair equally stunning from all sides. These are sturdy chairs. Good seat height and we like the back height. We purchased 8. We waited 6 months. Three of them are nicely made with tailored seams and able to see the nail head details. Five of them are very shaggy, with the hide (hair) going every which way. Can't see the nail heads because it's so hairy. The seat bottoms are hairy and the seams have hair bunching out.. Carolie.
