Needed something that looks good from the back and this one does. Vanieers all around except the 1.5x1.5” legs and cross pieces are solid wood. So be careful, especially at the edges. Definitely a bit grayer than I thought and no red in it. Like Minwax Aged Barrel stain. It’s a warm gray not too yellow. Biggest complaint is that they didn’t put proper extending drawer glides on it so the last 5.25” of the drawers are not accessible without blindly digging back there! The likely saved about $8 a desk doing this but now I have to buy and install the correct ones because this is unacceptable. As you can see by design the drawers are recessed back from the top so it amplifies the problem and they should have put more thought into it. Desk was not damaged and was a beautiful piece. Shipping from Wayfair was a nightmare and didn't arrive when it was supposed to (three days later after being at the office waiting for a delivery until 8:00pm when I finally called and was told they wouldn't be delivering that day).
