We like the design, fabric, and comfort of the chairs. The wood used to craft the chairs arms and legs dents and nicks easily. It’s for lack of a better word, SOFT. We tried to carefully unpack the chairs from the voluminous cardboard, foam and wrapping plastic used to protect the chairs during shipping. Unfortunately our careful efforts still resulted in a couple nicks in the arms and legs of one of the chairs. Over tim3 I am imagining this will be a common issue with these chairs…wood parts aren’t as strong as I expected.. Pamela. The Woodlands, TX. Sun Aug 03 2025

The scalloped outside back and apron reflect the sunburst dimensional outback of the chair. The upholstered inside back and seat are standard in 222111 Chatfield, a wheat-colored indoor performance fabric featuring a linen weave construction with a soft hand. Move smoothly on the casters or you may choose the stationary Gilmore chair, same silhouette. The standard casters on all Lexington Home Brands upholstered chairs are designed for use on carpeted, porcelain, ceramic or stone surfaces. Most hardwood and vinyl floors have a softer surface, which may cause casters to leave tracking marks. In cases where the chairs are used directly on hardwood flooring, engineered flooring or vinyl surfaces, the standard casters should be replaced with hardwood-safe casters.
