A narrow plank bench in solid elm with an upholstered camel Tibetan lamb seat. The board is single-piece and unlacquered, dry and silvered to the touch, with open checking, hand-hewn ends and visible tool marks. Legs splay on both axes and pass through the plank as pegged mortise-and-tenon joints. Tibetan lamb is known for its long curly pile and silky luster; ours is ethically sourced from Mongolia and is naturally hypoallergenic. The pile falls over the front edge of the padded seat. Fur color and material can be specified on request. Worth knowing: the seat board is roughly 5 to 6 inches wide, which makes this a perch and a hall piece rather than a bench to sit at length.
