The Steelcase series 2 chair has technology featuring an innovative geometric design that flexes in two dimensions, supporting each part of your spine for responsive, personalized comfort and fit. The tilt mechanism is synchronized; the seat and back work in harmony with each other, keeping the body securely supported in the chair and feet firmly planted on the floor so you can recline without leaving your optimal zone for seeing and reaching your work. This model includes an adjustable seat depth, fully adjustable arms (raise up and down, pivot in and out, shift forward and back and side to side), pneumatic seat height adjustment, recline tension adjustment, flexing plastic mesh back, and upholstered seat. The seat features strong yet pliable foam which conforms to the body and creates pressure-free comfort. Flexible seat edge offers a bit of bend, right where you need it – relieving pressure points under your thighs. This chair will arrive unassembled and require some assembly covered by the Steelcase warranty.

Experience total comfort from head to toe. One of the first chairs of its kind, Zody fully supports two positions: sitting down, and that in-between “perch” that’s half sitting, half standing (a common posture with a sit-to-stand desk). Built on over 20 years of independent field studies and knowledge, it’s the most researched chair on the market. And it’s not only good for your body. It’s good for the planet, too. This is the first furniture design ever to be Cradle to Cradle Bronze® certified — the most rigorous environmental standard for products that can be fully reused after their first life. It’s also GREENGUARD Gold® certified and independently tested to be free from over 10,000 chemicals to help contribute to cleaner air in your home. Zody is upholstered in our exclusive Hobson fabric, made from 80% ocean-bound plastic and recycled polyester. Each yard diverts 33 plastic bottles from entering our oceans.

I was positively surprised that the chair was already assembled. I just started using it so that I can’t make lots of comments about it, but so far I like !!. Anonymous. Tue Dec 26 2023

Have this chair at work (with headrest) so ordered for my office at home now we’re working from home more. It’s very sturdy and comfortable. Good lumbar support which was the primary reason I spent the money - I knew what I was getting for the price. Noticed an immediate difference with my sciatic pain. Assembly is very easy - no tools just attach the base to the seat. The thing I like about this chair is you can lean and the arms lean with you. Also the arms are adjustable.. Sandy. Aurora, IL.
