The Chace leather chair is very nice. Workmanship and quality is very good. There is one downside though and that is the pneumatic mechanism only goes up and down 1 inch. All mechanism that I have seen have at least 2-3 inches of travel. I had to add spacers to raise the height to the right level. I think you should change the mechanism supplier.. Edward. Gallup, NM. This chair is well constructed and very comfortable, with good lumbar support. It was very well packaged for safe shipping. I am 5’3” and the chair did not raise high enough for me to use my laptop in an ergonomically correct and comfortable way. My husband created a 1.5” block and placed that between the seat and the mount, and then bought longer screws to connect so that the chair height is raised.
