While Elixir has crisp, clean lines, character and visual interest are also achieved through the use of texture. Escape to the tranquility of the countryside every night with this charming farmhouse style bedroom set. This set, complete with a bed and nightstand, creates a cozy and inviting space. Enjoy the convenience of having everything you need to effortlessly transform your bedroom.

This poster bed is bound with a relaxed traditional look that is inspired by British colonial and campaign styling. A removable canopy frame and a low-post option for the footboard provide an array of personalized options. Experience a distinctive design that offers a sense of a well-traveled life.

The piece overall feels very solid. Although the drawer fronts have a heavyweight feel to match the look of the piece, the drawer boxes feel too light. Some of the details that were not provided in the specs are that the bottom shelf is a solid panel with rattan/wicker texture and that the “finished” back is not a side you would actually want to be visible.. Lovely and nicely crafted but very heavy (80 lbs.) Barclay Butera mirror from his Malibu collection looks lovely hanging in an alcove near our dining table. One cautionary note: Suggest possibility of hiring a professional to hang this one after my husband made several concentrated efforts. Rather than using one 100 lb. hook, he finally wired the mirror through the D rings and hung the wire on three 100 lb. hooks so the weight would be more evenly distributed. By the way, we were concerned about the sheetrock being unable to support the weight of the mirror, so he first placed a 1 x 6 board behind the mirror before applying the hooks. (Better safe than sorry.) A professional might have done it differently, but it was well worth the effort overall. Pleased to have discovered this piece on the Perigold website.. Suzanne.
