The Tegal Muslin Barrel Chair is made of solid rattan using a very traditional rattan construction technique. But instead of thinner reeds, the ties on this rattan chair are made of leather. The chair, which will fast become a favorite in a variety of spaces including sunrooms and beachside living rooms, has a name inspired by a city in Central Java, an Indonesian country known for fine rattan craftsmanship. This Tegal chair comes with the standard white muslin fabric shown in photo, ready for the addition of your upholstery of choice. This piece is not suited for final use as shipped. Decorative upholstery, sold separately, should be applied.
