Combining the clean, unadorned lines of the International Modernists with organic and geometric forms, the Catalina Collection is suggestive of the works of America’s Mid-Century Modern designers. The years following WWII were a time of uncertainty but also of great hope and progress. Designs of the period reflected that sense of hope and the promise of an ideal future. In our current period, one finds comfort and nostalgia in Catalina’s retro-modern shapes and sensibilities. The Catalina Collection is crafted in solid American Black Walnut or Cherry.

The table itself is gorgeous and I would give it 5 plus stars. The issues I had was with Wayfair - terrible, rude and no customer service and this experience cause so much anxiety -basically I order in May and the table was delayed and delayed. After missing the event I was planning to use it for in September they would not allow me to cancel. It went to executive resolution who returned my first email and never responded or call back. Several emails and attempts to talk to someone was time consuming and worrisome - note they never called. Was absolutely shocked - I reached out to the actual supplier and found out the table was just sitting in their warehouse - I was able to get the supplier to contact directly wayfair. Bad bad experience. Mostlikely wayfair will not publish this review.. Sharen. Oak Brook, IL. Sat Dec 17 2022
