Great office chair and super easy to assemble. Took less than 5 minutes and no tools!. Lisa. Atlanta, GA. Mon Sep 13 2021

The Steelcase series 2 chair has technology featuring an innovative geometric design that flexes in two dimensions, supporting each part of your spine for responsive, personalized comfort and fit. The tilt mechanism is synchronized; the seat and back work in harmony with each other, keeping the body securely supported in the chair and feet firmly planted on the floor so you can recline without leaving your optimal zone for seeing and reaching your work. This model includes an adjustable seat depth, fully adjustable arms (raise up and down, pivot in and out, shift forward and back and side to side), pneumatic seat height adjustment, recline tension adjustment, flexing plastic mesh back, and upholstered seat. The seat features strong yet pliable foam which conforms to the body and creates pressure-free comfort. Flexible seat edge offers a bit of bend, right where you need it – relieving pressure points under your thighs. This chair will arrive unassembled and require some assembly covered by the Steelcase warranty.

The gold standard in office seating, the chair redefines the concept of traditional task chairs

I spend a lot of time on my computer editing photographs and this chair is a comfy, good posture reminder. Only negative is that the "freedom component" for the backrest doesn't work for me (pushes against me) as I am a 125 lb. weakling. Hahah. I think if you're a much larger framed and jacked person it may work for you.... Marianne. Sun Feb 12 2023

Discover the closest thing to sitting on air. Humanscale’s first foray into all-mesh task seating, innovative backrest provides custom lumbar support for every sitter at any stage of recline. It is accomplished by replacing traditional bulky mechanisms with the laws of physics and the sitter’s body weight. As a result, all the sitter needs to do is sit down to enjoy the ultimate sitting experience.

Diffrient World is Humanscale’s first foray into all-mesh task seating. Designer Niels Diffrient wanted to create the most minimal, full-function task chair ever made. The gold standard in office seating, the chair redefines the concept of traditional task chairs. Designer Niels Diffrient aimed to design an office chair that automatically adapts to the user, allowing them to move freely from posture to posture.

Have this chair at work (with headrest) so ordered for my office at home now we’re working from home more. It’s very sturdy and comfortable. Good lumbar support which was the primary reason I spent the money - I knew what I was getting for the price. Noticed an immediate difference with my sciatic pain. Assembly is very easy - no tools just attach the base to the seat. The thing I like about this chair is you can lean and the arms lean with you. Also the arms are adjustable.. Sandy. Aurora, IL.
