Villa & House (originally Bungalow 5) Coffee Tables

With new proportions and thicker chow feet legs, the Bethany Square Coffee Table from Bungalow 5 is a substantial piece. Finished in textural, lacquered heavy linen, the Bethany has a chunky appearance that almost reads like plaster. A 42 by 42-inch square, this table is best used with a sectional or corner sofa, as its equal sides and 90-degree angles tuck into tight spaces better than a rectangle. The Bethany coffee table—which comes in a white or natural color—is equally welcomed as a neutral moment in a beachy, coastal room like a pool house or as the centerpiece of a casual, brightly colored sunroom.

Sophisticated warmth meets contemporary design in our Odeon coffee table. Its sleek profile has a modern, minimalist appeal, while elemental finishes and meticulous metalwork elevate the piece for high-end tastes. We can thank Villa and House's expert craftsmen for that. Their creative touch can be found in the treatment of the antique brass cladding, which covers the Odeon’s exterior and shelf in a tactile pattern that feels organic while resembling naturally aging metal. Its interior plane presents the brass with a smooth finish. The Odeon’s low-slung fixed shelf solidifies its geometric silhouette and serves as the perfect showcase for art pieces or stacks of books. It’s a handsome accent for an office or living room between two couches or nestled in the nook of a corner sofa.

The Mila was designed with the utmost attention to detail. Linen fabric, protected with a lacquered finish, is wrapped seamlessly around the form. A recessed edge conceals the base making it look as if the piece is floating inches above the ground.

Box was damaged but interior packing kept it safe. A damp cloth removed the smudge marks. Lovely piece! Keying our fabrics from it -- so many blues. Only question I have is its durability (dog scratches, heat or wet marks, etc.). Should we cut a piece of glass for the top or will normal loving care suffice?. Kathy. Jacksonville, FL.
