We so love this table. We were concerned we might receive a piece with defects or damage and have to navigate a difficult return process for a large piece of furniture, however it was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Delivery team was very careful. Pictures do not do justice to the color of the wood. It’s warmer/brighter in person, and not yellow-toned. The table top is gorgeous!! The pedestal seems to be a different wood tone (a bit grayer and not as bright). When you stand in various places, for example, from the living room, the marble piece that sits between the tabletop and the pedestal looks very elegant. It's an elegant, rustic look!! This handcrafted 84-inch dining table has a reclaimed teak wood top featuring clean edges, and the water-based catalyzed weathered finish on the wood offers durability while showcasing the natural grain of the wood. Affixed to either end of the base of the tabletop are two rods that fit into the cast iron base where the industrial crank mechanism is connected to an antique-styled handle, allowing the table's top to be raised or lowered.
