Sak (Soñando a Kuramata) is based on the iconic "64 bookshelves" bookcase by Japanese designer, Shiro Kuramata, who divided the area of a rectangle into 64 compartments that increase in size from corner to corner. This design takes Kuramata´s idea and pushes it into the third dimension, not only does the area of the shelves increase from one corner to another, but the depth does as well. This iconic bookcase is assembled without the use of glue or hardware.
