Artless Melinda bench continues the quirky design approach of the Melinda line. The Melinda bench has beautiful proportions, with an asymmetric marriage between the seat and base as its defining qualities. The Melinda bench is available with a storage shelf in solid walnut, which increases its functionality while enhancing its beauty. We never intended to design anything suitable for a mudroom, but if ever there was a piece, this would be the one.

Absolutely awful. Advertised as real wood (walnut) and Mortise and Tenon joinery, and dovetail joints on the drawer. Bench is veneer and particleboard, pocket screwed, and the drawer is stapled/glued. On top of all that, there are multiple wear/damage areas, and areas that the finish didn't get fully applied. Working on returning for a full refund. Wayfair needs to do a better job vetting their products, the box it came in had the manufacturers name and website (not listed on wayfair) and thier site states it has veneer and engineered wood even though wayfair does not.. Bench 75 in a hallway is a place to take off shoes, and put on boots, where outdoors and indoors meet. The storage shelf stores up to three pairs of shoes comfortably and there’s room underneath for more. Alternatively use it at the end of a bed and keep blankets and pillows on the storage shelf, or as a side table storing magazines and books below. Where space is limited this compact design slots in easily. Bench 75 is made from sustainably harvested natural American white oak and oak veneers, selected for their warm color, beautiful grain pattern, and traditional hardwood durability. All edges look crisp but are carefully hand sanded to make them soft to the touch. Finished with a matt, water-resistant lacquer. Design by Lincoln Rivers.
