I purchased these stools less than seven months ago. I'm so disappointed. I spent more on these stools than I usually would because they matched our new bathrooms so well. However, the fabric is peeling and sticks to you when you sit down.

Disclaimer: ordered an open box item of this product. The box it came in was beat up and about ready to fall apart. It was already assembled which was nice, but the stool itself looked very cheaply made and put together. The metal bars between the legs weren't secured into the wooden legs, and fell apart the first time it was sat on (while still under the listed weight limit). Now it's about ready to fall apart and at the base of the stool where the legs are attached, it's cracking. I wouldn't recommend these stools, they're too cheaply made even at the discounted price of ~$50 that I paid for them.

It was taller than I expected, but it is solid and comfortable.
