I love this chair. I don't think it it the exact Leon chair I ordered, but I love it. I ordered the Leon chair in this picture that looks as if it does *not* have cording on the seat cushion. In the picture, it appears to be a regular flax linen. The chair I received seems to have a slightly darker colored cushion and interior back compared to the picture. I *think* the linen on the chair I received is a hemp linen and not a flax linen as in the picture. Again, mine has cording and the one in the picture appears not to have cording. There are two Leon chairs available through Wayfair, and they do have different materials.
As far as the chair goes, it is gorgeous. The simple curves of the wood, the beauty of the natural materials. It is a little firmer than I expected but not hard. I checked the inside of the cushion and the foam is indeed encased in down. I put an extra pillow in the chair to give more support to my lumbar and it is perfect for what I need in my bedroom. This chair won't be sit on all the time, just occasionally when putting on shoes, trying on clothes or maybe reading a book or on the computer. I will need an ottoman or pouf to go with it.
The chair could be a it heavier than it is but nothing to be concerned about. I have wood laminate flooring and if I were to push it, it would move easily. Great if you want to scoot it somewhere but if you have kids make sure they don't run and jump onto it.
This chair really adds to the look of my bedroom and creates the style I am looking for. I don't have much in my room...a queen sized bed with a linen duvet, an antique armoire and this chair. Their will be a small table for tea in the future. It's an elegant chair but not overdone. It's simple at the same time. French. I'm loving it.
