This is a wonderfully functional desk adapted from Japanese originals from the late 17th century. Its modernized design has authentic corner brackets called Herikanagu and a rectangular oak top. A variety of file and storage drawers are mounted with brass bar pulls, and the entire piece is elevated on a metal base.
