The table is beautiful, but the finish is about 98 perfect if you are being very picky. It top has a Matte finish. The first Top we received had a very bad spot in the finish but Wayfair immediately corrected the issue and sent a new top. Now we are happy with the table. Its very heavy, sturdy, and has very nice build quality. Definitely quality furniture without spending an exorbitant amount of money.
