There were scratches on one side of the table when we received it. I am giving it 4 stars because customer service was really cooperative when we informed them. Now, 6 months later, there is one tiny spot that is peeling at the surface of the table. We have only used this table once. It looks great in the picture. The legs are beautiful in person but the finish of the table could be improved.
