This chair is exactly as pictured, a traditional design. It is a substantial piece of furniture. The chair is comfortable and is adjustable for height and ability to lean back. All of the furniture I have purchased by Lexington has been well-made. I am very happy with my purchase.

It’s good

I bought this as an open box item a few years ago. It's a beautiful chair but we need to keep replacing the casters. It probably doesn't help that my husband can be a bit careless when sitting on furniture, and it does get frustrating when I'm vacuuming up ball bearings from the casters. Unfortunately, we'll probably have to replace the chair soon. The arms of the chair are also banged up because they don't slide under the opening in the desk. In hindsight, I wish that I would've passed on this item.

The chair needs to have a lower setting for seat height. Another 2" lower would be optimal for the lowest setting. (and I am 6'2") Additionally, the seat has a hard edge under the thighs; making it rather uncomfortable while leaning back. The noted lower setting above would help. The chair aesthetically is great. But the comfort is just not there for a premium chair.
