1. First of all, my husband and I joked people are making babies faster than they are making furniture these days. After 10 months of waiting on a similar Tommy buffet from another company and getting delivery bumped back twice with no warning I was SO frustrated. Perigold had this to me in less than 2 weeks (!!!!!) with constant updates! 2. Now on to the piece itself. I am SO glad my other piece failed to come BECAUSE this IS the buffet I have been waiting for all my life! It is ridiculously beautiful, handsome, and a room stealer. I could not love it more. The only hard part is it is very heavy (beautiful quality!!!) so we put slider pads underneath so we could move it more easily. 3. I would not work with anyone else now for upscale furniture than Perigold. I can be a bit particular and there is nothing I would change about this entire transaction from ordering to delivery and the piece itself. I do wish Perigold would consider bringing back the white glove service getting this out of the packaging was a 30 min plus job and getting the sliders/moving it into place took 2 people.
