I bought the chair at a greatly reduced price as it was an “open box” item. It arrived in perfect shape. Architecturally it is lovely but this is not a dining chair that would be comfortable to sit in for a long leisurely dinner. There is very little padding and no “give.” Even at $275 it was expensive for the value. The $700 price tag is completely ridiculous and must be exclusively associated with the design name which I was unfamiliar with.

Gorgeous. Exactly what we needed for the space. We ordered 12 of them for a large table.

Two items that I'd like to address. First, Perigod describes this chair as "cream." In fact, it is oatmeal. It says "oatmeal" on the box and it appears darker in real life than on the website. Second, the chairs are rather hard. Even the back is hard. They are not particularly comfortable chairs. I am returning them because of the color.

These chairs are sturdy and good quality. We are very happy with them
