Color of the seat different than the shown on the website.

The counter stools were as expected. However there was one stool that had obviously been used as there were white sticky spots on the black finish. Ice cream? Milk? Whatever. I was able to get it off with a magic sponge. The box had an obvious slice in the top of the box and the plastic had been torn open. Fortunately there was no damage to the seats or obvious wear. Given the condition I would say these were from an open box but I did not get open box pricing.

We got the “tan” and it is a lot closer to brown like in the photo. Think your dad’s lazyboy type of brown, which worked for us. I’ve attached a photo which might help. It is a shade darker than the photo.

Comfortable & well made with a sleek modern look. Excellent value too.
