This bed is sturdy and beautiful. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it needs a bunkie board if you’re not using a box spring because there aren’t enough slats (mattress would fall through. That should be in the description.Thank goodness the delivery person mentioned I had never heard of a bunkie board.

The leather is high quality and goes very nicely with the metal leg bottoms - it is a nice touch to make it stand out. The headboard is firm and sturdy but comfortable to lean against when reading. I went with a solid comforter to make the design and grain really pop out and it looks great.
