Love the bed. It’s beautiful. But the “white glove” delivery, not so much. This (expensive) king bed requires 2 people to assemble. One guy, in a Ford 150 truck arrived with our bed. If my husband or I had not been available, there’s no way he could have assembled the bed alone with damaging it. Also, I’ve had white glove delivery in the past where the delivery guys actually put on gloves to protect upholstery. That doesn’t happen anymore, hence a dirty smudge from his handling on the footboard. We took a picture, then I attempted to gently clean it, but it’s still visible. Too much to spend for that kind of service.

I was so nervous to make this purchase (as it was a way over-budget splurge) but I am so happy with the bed. The quality is absolutely above and beyond. The bed is so sturdy and unique. Everyone who has seen it in person has absolutely loved it, as it is clearly a very well made piece. The upholstery wasn't phased at all when I spilled an iced coffee on it (phew!). Will have this piece for many many years. One thing I did not realize from the posting was that the wooden platform underneath the bed can be set at one of two heights. So, you do not need a box spring if you don't want one. Plus my dog loves his new "puppy hotel" under the bed - extra safe feeling since he has to first battle crawl under the side panels before the height opens up underneath. The bed comes with three solid wood planks that provide more than enough support for the mattress. Very very happy!

Looks great in the space, wonderful quality, of course, because it is Stickley! Happy Stickley has some more updated designs.

Beautiful bed and nightstands The description said a 23 in mattress. We have an 8 in box springs and 14 in mattress The bed is too high with these We will have to purchase the shorter box spring or just use the platform bed option

Love the quality and took 30 minutes to unpack and put together. We didn’t ask for white glove delivery because it was for a second mtn home. Receipt was slightly delayed but arrived in perfect condition.
