Dark brown oak substantial side table with stepped pyramidal paneled moldings to the two drawer fronts and stylized brass drawer handles. Inset leather panel to top and slide beneath. Turned tapering baluster legs above a wavy X-frame stretcher. The design is based on a transitional piece of c.1600.
