This only requires cleaning with a soft damp cloth. Use a soft white cloth dampened with distilled water for most spots and spills. Wipe the spills immediately and allow to dry naturally. For spills of oil or grease wipe any excess with a clean dry cloth. Do not use water on the spot. Allow it to dry on its own and the spot will dissipate within a short period of time. Do not expose your leather furniture to direct sunlight or heat vents. This will prevent fading and will help ensure that the leather remains supple. You may dust your leather furniture with a clean soft cloth. Vacuum regularly. Never use cleaning solvents, oils, varnish, abrasive cleansers, furniture polish or typical saddle soaps on your leather furniture. Contact a local professional if further cleaning is needed. Scratches on leather will usually dissipate over time. When you noticed a scratch, rub the mark with your fingertips. This moves the natural oils around and it will help correct the mark. The leather's response to this is a sign of a high quality leather.

This is the worst quality experience I ever had with Perigold. This was Wayfair and somehow bleeding these two companies while expecting Perigold quality is a huge disappointment.

I ordered 2 of these "stools" and 2 days later they arrived. Faster then a speeding bullet. lol They were quite heavy which I knew about when I ordered and they will not slide around on the wood floor and stay put. They are made of good leather and will stand up to liquids. Just wipe it off. Won't soak in. Seams appear to be well made. Very hefty! There is plenty of room to straighten your legs out or cross them at the ankles. My Yorkie can fit between my legs and both of us are very compfy. The only thing that I did not like was I ordered the wrong color. I wanted the dark brown and I ordered the lighter brown by accident which has a orange tint to it so it doesn't match any of our leather. We are elders and it is too big of a job to wrap up, put back in box and return for an exchange. Oh well....blessed to be alive and the wrong color we will just have to live with. We love these, they are perfect in everyway and especially the price. They are well worth the fair cost and will last a long time, long enough to pass them on to nieces. We would buy them again. If I had more money I would order the dark brown color and give these orange tinted brown ones to someone who needs them. :-) One change I would make is that since they are so heavy for we elders, I would put a leather handle on them so there is something to grab on to in order to move it. There is nothing and if I want to get up form the couch or sit back down with feet up, I have to push it out which is fairly easy and kind of keep turning it to get it back which is hard work for me since my arms don't go around it and I don't have the strength to pull towards me without a handle of somekind. Does need some kind of small handles to grab on to. Other then this they are terrific!!!
