I really wanted this piece for a side table for my living room. But I was very disappointed in the finish. The top of the piece was very rough and did not feel at all like polished leather as the sides of the piece did. There were also quite a few lumps, bumps and gouges in the leather. It definitely was over priced for the quality of the manufacturing. I sent it back!
