This chest is GORGEOUS. The problem is it's the second time we've received the chest in two weeks and it arrived in terrible condition just like it did with the first chest! It so happens; my husband is very good at repairs, so if we can work something out with Perigold, we will keep this chest. We were also to use today's box to ship last week's beaten-up cabinet back. Unfortunately, today's box was as weak and torn up and last week's box. I do not know what Perigold will want to do, but they will have to come up with a solution. I recommend looking for other Asian furniture and finding a place where their furniture arrives in good condition!
