Received two days ago. Beautiful piece. BUT the draws are cheaply made on wood runners and the felt lining in the drawers is about as thick as a piece of copy paper. The drawers do not fit well and I tried switching and trading one opening for another but no help.The two brass pulls for the center cabinet are the thinnest cheapest pieces of metal possible and expect they won't last. I'm looking for something suitable to replace them. I was hoping I could insert some legitimate runners in inside the dresser but was told by my contractor there is no room on the bottom of
the drawers and no other way to do it. The drawer pulls need some protection from the drawer.
I will stick tiny, clear stoppers on the front of the draw where the drawer pulls hit the dresser. What a shame. A decent construction of the dresser with such cheap finishes. Also the dresser wobbles a bit so I had to put some cardboard under the legs on one side. I don't see a place to hit stars but I would give it a 2 1/2. Beautiful but very cheaply finished - for $3300 originally.
Price went down $400 less than 10 hours after I purchased. Tried to get refund. Had to pay return charge of $94.00 even though it had not yet been shipped to me. Then I re-ordered for $2900. In contacting customer service on a few occasions for this and other things, their staff is absolutely excellent and knowledgeable. The best I've ever dealt with.
