The wood is a smooth, true white color. No wood grain shows, if youre looking for a white-washed stain. The capiz can lean cream or gray, depending on whats going on around it, which makes it very versatile. Super happy with it overall and after almost of year of owning it, I think Im only loving it more. Its such a cool piece. This is a substantial and VERY heavy sideboard. Wayfair showed up to deliver and then realized it was too heavy for only two men to carry up a flight of stairs. Make sure they send three!
