At first I wrote a great review for this product, however, I'm CHANGING my review! PLEASE READ! This product has cracked and separated in SEVERAL places on the headboard! We have a brand new home. This isn't from the air being "too dry". We are SOOOOO incredibly disappointed! We can't get an exchange or refund. We've only had this bed for 7 months. The cracks started about 3 months ago. We didn't think too much of it and thought it added to the "distressed" look. The cracks have gone far beyond "distressed" and are actually separating. I might add, we are old so this isn't from "romping". This product AND Wayfair receive a 1 star. Spent a LOT of money for a defective piece. Very solid and sturdy bed! It sits rather high so if you have a thick mattress keep that in mind. It turns out we didn't need a box spring, just a bunkie board. We chose the white distressed model. The distressed look was very minimal but it's still a beautiful piece. Delivery took a while but we were feeling excited and impatient to receive our new bed. Very happy with our selection!

The bed had a 14" scratch right along the front of the headboard, very visible and very disappointing.
