If design is important to you, then this chair will be a pleasant surprise. The Klismos legs are not just curved decoratively. They are built into the chair in a way the Greeks intended! They actually support the weight of the person using the chair. My most delightful moment was when my back nestled into the curve of the chair, and I realized why Sappho got so much writing done! The chair is incredibly light in weight, which is also how a true Klismos should be. Love it!
