The chairs are sturdy and exactly what I was looking for

It’s a well-finished, well-turned, and comfortable chair. I have only one concern. The chair’s elegant look derives in part from its lack of any lower supports for the legs. That’s a possible point of weakness and indeed the chair I use most is beginning to squeak at the joints. I don’t perceive this as a fatal flaw, but it does suggest that periodic tightening of the screws attaching the legs will be required.
