Per the product details for this item, the materials are cotton, velvet, polyester blend. The picture of this bed appears to be velvet to me and everyone I’ve had look at it. Also, when you click on the color shwab for “Tess Fuschia” it DOES NOT say polyester blend. I would not have purchased this headboard if I knew it was not velvet. This color looks nothing like the pic.

The headboard is better quality than expected - it is thick (good depth) and it looks great in the room. The white is a pure white (not off white) - worth the wait!
